YOURmomsOBGYN16: How about that Randall Cobb....
Posted: December 19, 2011 at 01:57:37 PM
solx21: I knew I should have picked up seahawks defense... Hard to make decisions like that in the playoffs, if you make the wrong call you feel like an idiot and if you don't and lose you feel like an idiot too.
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 08:04:44 PM
camk16: Agreed, I played GB.. whoops.
solx21: Yeah, I played packers and bears - ouch... I'm out in 5 of my 6 leagues. I had some really good teams that did bad in the playoffs. oh well, it was fun while it lasted. maybe next year!
camk16: Combined, how many points do you figure Torrey Smith, Ricky Willimas, and San Fran's D/ST will score? Also, who scores more points, Pittsburgh's D/ST or Antonio Brown?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 07:29:10 PM
solx21: Well, it depends on the defensive scoring method. I think antonio brown will have a decent game, but pitsburgh defense should have a good game too, maybe better than brown. I guess it also depends how ben's ankle holds up too.
camk16: standard scoring, PA not YA.
solx21: If ben plays I think that he will have to throw the ball a lot because of SF run defense. But I think SF will give up a lot of passing yards if ben is healthy. I don't think SF offense is very good, so I think pittsburgh defense will get more points. But I could be wrong...
solx21: I remember when SF played Baltimore - I wasn't really impressed with them. Besides that game I haven't watch them play much this year, but their schedule is pretty weak. Pitt hasn't been running the ball much this year anyway, so depending on the passing game is normal for them.
solx21: Trying to make a line-up decision? or comparing who is left to play...
camk16: Comparing--trying to get a better handle on what my chances of advancing are.
solx21: and too bad about mcgahee... I hope he can come back 2nd half
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 05:36:16 PM
solx21: looks like A.Bradshaw isn't going to do much...
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 02:11:02 PM
SeahawkFan75: B.Marshall, S.Smith, D.Thomas or Gaffney. Need 1, Standard scoring.
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:41:41 PM
camk16: last call: McGahee or Smith?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:33:22 PM
solx21: I'm starting mcgahee. I would probably go with mcgahee because they run it so much.
SeahawkFan75: McGahee better matchup.
solx21: Dmaryius Thomas or Brandon Marshall?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:16:43 PM
camk16: Well, I think Marshall is the better play, but Thomas' match-up, and the fact that Marshall was 1/5/0 the last time they met BUF might sway me to take a shot on Demarius. Depends on your needs I guess..
solx21: Reggie Bush or Michael Bush? Leaning towards M.Bush
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:16:15 PM
camk16: Tough call, I like both. Flip a coin.
gsa1103: Helu, Michael Bush, Colston. 2 points per every 5 receptions. Which one do I sit?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:02:22 PM
camk16: Bush
gsa1103: Vick or Orton?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:00:57 PM
camk16: Vick.
gsa1103: Titans or 49ers D/ST?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 12:00:33 PM
camk16: TEN
SeahawkFan75: Stick with the 49rs vs a hurting Big Ben, who won't be able to escape the pocket or step into the throws with that bad ankle.
gsa1103: I'm concerned about the Patrick Willis injury.
SeahawkFan75: Yeah I am too, but I think it will be a low scoring defensive battle. I could go with the Cardinals over SF. What do you think?
gsa1103: Cards. Browns are a mess.
Cbean: Steve smith, Marion Barber, or Steven Jackson at flex?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 11:30:12 AM
gsa1103: Steven Jackson. Texans have a tough pass D and Barber is a risk to fumble the ball. Jackson is the safest play.
camk16: Yip, Sjax the safe play
blackandgold420: Michael Vick or Andy Dalton
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 11:24:56 AM
camk16: Dalton, depending on your needs.
ThePopPop: Dwayne Bowe or Brandon Marshall
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 10:08:09 AM
camk16: Marshall
robertcanes: I have to NOT start one of these 4 guys (Helu, Sproles, Michael Bush, or AP). I'm leaning towards AP since it's his first game back but can't make up my mind. I got this far without him. What do you think?
Posted: December 18, 2011 at 08:03:42 AM
SeahawkFan75: No way I play Sproles over AP. Bench Sproles.
camk16: ^ Agreed
robertcanes: Nice calls
camk16: Chill out, you were thinking the same thing.
cjpdx1: ok last question ahah sorry i think about this shit too much..im starting k.smith at the 405 game and if he somehow goes inactive then my best play is LT in ppr he is still soo risky after sitting out last week i need to win this week other options all at 1pm s-jax, jacobs grant??? please help me
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 11:43:16 PM
SeahawkFan75: Titans or 49rs DST?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 11:33:42 PM
robertcanes: Titans vs Indy
camk16: Titans at* Indy
SeahawkFan75: Steve Smith, B.Marshall, or D.Thomas. Pick 1
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 11:33:05 PM
cjpdx1: ok now with sam bradford pretty much out tom is bengals def vs rams a much smarter start for pts then the ravens vs the chargers???
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 10:50:41 PM
SeahawkFan75: Yes, play the Bengals Defense. The Ravens don't play as well on the road on the defensive side of the ball.
blitteken87: need 2 at WR, Steve Smith, Desean Jackson, Anquan Boldin, or Reggie Wayne???
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 08:41:37 PM
blitteken87: need 2 at WR, Steve Smith, Desean Jackson, Anquan Boldin, or Reggie Wayne???
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 08:41:37 PM
solx21: Wondering if I should play Austin and Robinson tonight. I'm playing against Tony Romo. I would have to site J.Nelson or Cruz. I would probably sit nelson since sometimes hes does nothing. Any thoughts. Should I sit Austin?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 07:52:37 PM
solx21: yep I should have started him...
camk16: I hope I don't get bad karma for looking past this week, but I'm curious about what all the Legarrette Blount owners think about his match-up @CAR next week?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 07:38:14 PM
camk16: Definitely feeling that bad karma atm.
olneym: the gut is telling me stay away from playing mike wallace with big ben banged up and the emergence of antonio brown. As well as larry fitzgerald with bad QB and CLE 'D'. Any thoughts? I have santana moss with a great matchup at NYG or kevin smith who is supposed to start.

frankls31: Which two WR's.... Holmes , lloyd, bowe or malcom floyd
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 03:59:54 PM
cjpdx1: sorry for the same question as usual but for some reason my gut is telling me to use miles austin over laurent robinson i read alot of stats about the # of 2 and 3 reciver sets dallas uses and austin is on the field for 65 snaps to robinson 35 snaps but i know the term" riding the hot hand"
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 02:19:26 PM
kamo287: i just asked the same question... im feeling austin would have more opportunities as well? idk
cjpdx1: but if austin catch that bomb romo throw in the 3rd quarter austin would of had 2tds and 140 yds what do u guys thinks you have to know this shit gurus lol ..just saw this post below mine
camk16: For the most part, Austin will likely draw coverage from the great Ronde Barber, who is savvy, but beatable in the twilight of his career. You already know how I feel and you said it yourself, "ride the hot hand". However, with that said, I would never suggest someone....
camk16: ....go against what their gut is telling them. There's no doubt that Austin is the better, more versatile receiver, and I have to believe that on coach Garret's list of priorities, Miles is ahead of Laurent. And not only that, but due to the rules of natural....
camk16: ....regression, Laurent is bound to slow down at some point. I'm just not convinced that it will be tonight. Here's some reading material that I thought....
camk16: ....was insightful: http://www.athlonsports.com/news/dez-bryant-will-be-odd-man-out-against-bucs-laurent-robinson-strong-play.
kamo287: Miles Austin or Laurent Robinson? tough
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 02:18:15 PM
13mitchell: With Mcfadden out AGAIN I picked up Brandon Jacobs who was best available. Should I start Jacobs, Spiller or Blount? I already have Foster going but need one of these.
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 01:39:08 PM
camk16: hmm.. I think Blount, but be sure to rattle off a quick prayer before kick off tonight.
nextlevel83: who should i start Shonn Greene, Felix Jones , or Kevin Smith
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 01:00:20 PM
camk16: Jones.
nextlevel83: ok what about out of greene or smith
camk16: uhh.. don't start them?
camk16: lol.. I hate all things NYJ(except for the defense, of course), and why take a risk on Smith if ya don't have to?
camk16: Oh.. OUT of Greene and Smith? Sorry, my fault. As much as I hate to say it, I think Greene is the smarter play.
nextlevel83: yeah good lookin out, thats what i was thinkin.
YOURmomsOBGYN16: Which D/ST? Cardinals or 49ers?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:49:36 PM
nextlevel83: cards cuz the browns are really bad and they have petterson on punt returns
camk16: ARZ's game sets up real nice for their defense. The Brown's offense is useless, and will likely be led by Seneca Wallace to boot. If you think you've got the advantage over your opponent, SF is the safe play.
YOURmomsOBGYN16: I've got a toss up this week in my WR3. Should I play A. Brown or Dez Bryant? Also, at RB, K. Smith, Blount, or Gore?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:49:06 PM
camk16: I don't know what it is, but I can never really feel good about Dez Bryant. I'd go with Brown. At RB, I think Gore gets back into usual workload this week in a must-win game and I like the upside Smith bring to the table, I'd choose based on that.
olneym: Other Fantasy team: "too many cooks in the kitchen dilemma"; Need to pick 5 to play (2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 Flex): Arian Foster, Felix Jones, Kevin Smith, Ben Tate, Mike Wallace (i was burned by him last week..damn that Antonio Brown!), Larry Fitzgerald, Victor Cruz, Santana Moss. Good luck everybody!
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:43:20 PM
nextlevel83: Easy Foster, Jones, Wallace, Cruz, and K. Smith
nextlevel83: who should i start Greene or K.Smith ?
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:36:54 PM
13mitchell: Close one, maybe Smith if he's 100%. Greene might be the safer play.
olneym: RB dilemma; I have Gerhart, How much does AP play Sunday? Will Gerhart still produce enough for me to start? I have Lance Ball @ New England, Donald Brown @ Tenn or Khalil Bell @ Seatle to replace him. Thanks. Good luck in playoffs everyone!
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:31:42 PM
nextlevel83: When you have a stud you play'em and AP is a stud. Plus he says he's playin for YOU, his Fantasy owners. Go wit Donald Brown against Tenn. he's the guy over Addai and he scored on them earlyer this year
camk16: AP looks good to go, I wouldn't trust Toby. Brown has been the lead back for consecutive weeks now, I like him over the other two.
SeahawkFan75: Pick 2 WR's from S.Smith, B.Marshall, LoRo, D.Thomas. Also which Defense, 49rs, Cardinals, Titans. Thanks
Posted: December 17, 2011 at 12:08:24 PM
nextlevel83: Def go with the cards ,the Browns offense stinks and thier startin a backup QB. B.Marshall and S.Smith.
go chargers: brandon pettigrew or jermaine gresham
Posted: December 16, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM
camk16: I generally like Gresham, but I think Petts is the smarter play. Covering TE's seems to be the only thing STL does right.
bus111985: Michael Crabtree or James Jones this week? It's the playoffs and I need a win. Jones will get more looks with Jennings out but Crabtree has been good lately. Too close to call, give me some help.
Posted: December 16, 2011 at 11:56:12 PM
nextlevel83: The Niners or the Steelers wont be able to run the ball, so each team will air it out. But Jones has the biggest upside for a touchdown.
nextlevel83: Go with Crabtree in the last 4 games 24 catches 333 yards and 1 touchdown. Might not get a score but he's good for 7 catches for bout 77 yards. Jones is a lottory ticket its the playoffs its not the time to gamble. Play it safe !
camk16: Tbh, I feel like out of Driver, Cobb, and James Jones, James is the least likely to benefit from Jennings' injury. Unless you're behind already, I'd have to agree with what NextLvl said, "it's not the time to gamble."
NSANCHEZWETRUST: PPR--CELEK OR OWEN DANIELS???
Posted: December 16, 2011 at 11:16:32 PM
camk16: Nerves playoff twitch? I'd go with Daniels.
camk16: Nervous*
